the move
well, now that the majority of old TRP posts have taken the long winding route to this location, it appears the days of the old blog are numbered. she served us well, and let us never forget the power of the mediocrity that i put on display.
the old Techno Robot Pudding blogger site will be deleted sometime in the next two weeks; but no sooner than one week from now. while the colors and the shapes will no longer exist, the ones and zeroes will ring on in our hearts. RIP old friend.
and on to greener pastures. unless data heaven is monochrome.
and teh winnar is….
drumroll please….
pittsburgh.
you heard it here first. well, alright- but you did see it here.
i’ve been in a creative slump for some time now. nothing’s coming to me, and it’s quite annoying. any time i try to put something together, my head begins to hurt. it’s a feeling of futility; like the feeling oprah gets when she tries to get out of the bath tub without using grease and a crowbar.
speaking of oprah, she was fooled by james frey but she turned it around into publicity and ratings. excellent spin job! say one thing on larry king and say another when it comes time for your show. she’d make an excellent politician.
on to politics, i was watching fox news last night and was treated by an orgy of conservative viewpoints; including folks with names like hannity and coulter. by the way, i tuned in because i felt like i needed a good laugh. instead, i came upon a realization. these people were bashing democrats- saying that the democrats were weak and would ultimately just fall in line with the ruling party. and they were right. for a while now, we’ve been in the era of a spineless “other” party. and the parties with guts aren’t widely known by the american people. essentially, i think this means the end of the two party system- and we’ll be back to how it was in the early 1800s with one party. this new era will by far NOT be an “era of good feelings.”
i’m going to take a bath in britpop now. peace, love, and oasis. bloc party too. i just discovered them; quite kickass.
on the flipside there is more rambling
ready? here we go.
remember the show Empty Nest? wasn’t that shit about some doctor and his kid or neighbor or something? funny how i can’t remember the general concept yet i can remember that he was neighbors with the Golden Girls. yes, those Golden Girls. imagine the intense reek of all the formeldahyde keeping them preserved.
now for some free-range nonsense.
they were considering making a revised version of the old tv show Green Acres starring Paul Reiser and some conjoined twins. unfortunately, the pitch fell through when one of the co-creators began to spontaneously vomit on the shoes of the network execs. apparently, she had eaten something that didn’t agree with her; and rather than try to negotiate digestive stability she decided to ignore the rumblings as they were “probably from the 15 different birth control drugs.” speaking of birth control drugs, what the fuck is up with all these side-effects? nausea, bleeding, dizziness, mood swings, vomiting, carpentry- crikey! if you’re trying to make the majority of women miserable why not just make a pill with the ultimate side effect- death? we’ll call it “mortalia.” the slogan will be “don’t have kids again. ever.” someone will need to do something to battle the inadvertent rise in necrophilia, though. i say engineer the drug to make the person disintegrate. that’ll solve it. or just nuke the planet. that works too. you know, if you’ve made it this far down the paragraph without thinking “holy shit, this guy is dangerous and should be silenced,” then you’re probably an okay person. or illiterate. or both. i shouldn’t have to have a disclaimer because i’d like to think any readers would see this as a work of sarcastic randomness, but just in case you don’t understand that: this is a work of sarcastic randomness that is not intended to be a recommendation for anything, especially the republican party.
now back to our regularly scheduled static.
fun with pixels
check it.

don’t worry. i’ll use it eventually.
can’t think
gah, i’ve been sparse on the typing stuff and posting front. apologies.. we’re still on the fence.
